Almond

Almonds are sold most often without shells, fried or natural. The almond core is covered with a thin brown shell. To remove the shell, lower the almonds for 1 minute in boiling water. Then remove the nut from the water and, pressing your fingers on the core, remove the shell. Next, the core is washed with water and dried on a baking sheet in the oven at 50-70 degrees, so that the almonds do not darken. It is not recommended to add bitter almonds to dishes, because they contain poisonous substances.
