Anaheim chili Pepper (California green chili, long green pepper, chili verde, " Big Jim")
The long, tapering anaheim chili pods have a soft, fresh taste and have a thick skin. For this reason, the Anaheim pepper is great for stuffing and baking. It is also a component of various sauces, ketchups and the popular spicy mixture "Curry". It goes well with meat, vegetables, legumes and rice dishes, giving them a burning taste and aroma.
In Mexican cuisine, green "Anaheim" is fried on the fire whole or finely chopped.
When ripe, "Anaheim" turns red and is called " Colorado chili "or"California red pepper". The best fruits of this pepper grow in the summer. At the same time, their taste varies from soft and sweet to moderate burning.
