Autumn lines

You can collect autumn lines in August-October. They grow mainly in pine-birch forests or in mountainous areas.

The cap of the autumn stitch is saddle-shaped or lobed with several peaks. The color of the cap ranges from light chestnut to brown. The stem is cellular, white or pink.

Autumn lines are considered the most poisonous among all lines. Therefore, they must first be boiled (for 25-30 minutes or 2 times for 10 minutes in a triple volume of water), then washed and only after that prepare dishes from them, in particular mushroom caviar.

In addition to the fresh appearance, autumn lines can be dried, and then used for making sauces and gravies.
