Carp

Large freshwater (river) fish of the carp family. It has a dense, juicy, sweet meat of medium fat content.

Carp is used for cooking cutlets and chops, as well as fried, stewed and oven fish. Very rarely it is cooked and almost never allowed (see also the article "Carp").
