Diet #1: peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, chronic gastritis with high acidity, chronic kidney and gall bladder diseases

Diet #1 is prescribed in the following cases: gastric ulcer; duodenal ulcer; chronic gastritis with high acidity; chronic kidney disease, when there is no edema; gallbladder disease (the use of eggs is limited to 1 per day); after operations in the gastrointestinal tract.

This diet is characterized by the restriction of chemical, mechanical and thermal stimuli of the stomach.

The main recommended diet products: yesterday's white bread or dried, milk, cream( low-fat), unsalted butter, cottage cheese, sour cream (10-15% fat content), eggs, lean meat, low-fat fish, cereals (for gastritis with high acidity, pearl barley and millet are excluded), vegetables (except spicy and containing a large amount of coarse fiber), sweet varieties of fruits and berries.

From these products, steam or boiled dishes are prepared in mashed (vegetables) or chopped (meat) form. Soups are cooked only on broths from cereals or milk, since meat, fish and strong vegetable broths are contraindicated in this diet. Recommended milk pureed porridge, white milk sauces, fruit and berries in the pureed form. The amount of salt should be limited.
