Edible honeysuckle "dessert" (Leningrad selection)
In the "dessert" honeysuckle, the fruits are small, oval, with a smooth surface and elastic skin. Their flesh is dense, and the taste is sour-fresh, without bitterness. They are most often used in their natural form.
The leaves of the "dessert" honeysuckle are light green, dense, pubescent. In folk medicine, they are used to prepare medicinal decoctions and tinctures.
