Edible Honeysuckle flowers

Already in early May, beautiful yellow flowers appear on the honeysuckle bushes, attracting insects with their aroma. Flowering is extended over time for a whole month, which allows the bulk of the honeysuckle flowers to avoid frost damage and provides an annual stable harvest.

As you know, honeysuckle flowers are edible, so they are often used in folk medicine (especially oriental) as a means of relieving heat, removing toxins from the body and relieving inflammatory processes.

The honeysuckle flowers are harvested during the flowering of the plant. After harvesting, they are dried outdoors in the shade, and then stored in a dry place.
