The honeysuckle "Gerda" berries are barrel-shaped, with a slightly elongated tip. The skin of the berries is thin, the surface is slightly bumpy, the flesh is tender. They taste sweet and sour, without a bitter tinge. In cooking, they are most often used fresh, but sometimes for processing.
The leaves of the honeysuckle variety "Gerda" are bright green, elongated-oval in shape, with a pointed tip. In folk medicine, they are used to prepare medicinal infusions and decoctions.
