Edible honeysuckle "sodruzhestvo" (Leningrad selection)

The fruits of the Commonwealth honeysuckle are large, elongated-oval in shape. Their surface is very bumpy, the skin is thin, and the flesh is very tender, melting in the mouth. They taste sweet and sour, with refreshing notes and a kind of citrus bitterness. Suitable for consumption in both fresh (natural) and processed form.

The leaves of the commonwealth honeysuckle are concave, dark green, elongated-oval in shape. In folk medicine, they are used to prepare medicinal infusions and decoctions.
