Edible honeysuckle "viliga" (Moscow selection)

The name of this variety of honeysuckle comes from the name of the Viliga River, which flows in the Magadan region. The fruits of this honeysuckle are large, up to 3 cm long. In shape, they are elongated-cylindrical, with a bumpy surface, and taste-sweet and sour, with a characteristic astringency. In cooking, they are used for processing.
The leaves of the "wiliga" honeysuckle are light green, with a straight base. In folk medicine, they are used for the preparation of infusions and decoctions.
