Fish with onion and vinegar

Ingredients

→ A FEW PEAS OF BLACK PEPPER
→ 2 TABLESPOONS VEGETABLE OIL
→ 2 ONIONS
→ 1 BAY LEAF
→ 1 KG OF FRESH FISH
→ 0.5 CUP TOMATO PASTE
→ 0.5 CUP 3% VINEGAR

In a saucepan, put in a row of fish pieces (see "Cutting fish"), on them a layer of chopped onions, then another row of fish and again a row of onions. After that, pour in the oil and vinegar, and add the tomato paste. For flavor, you can add 1 bay leaf and a few peas of black pepper to the pan. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the fish at a low boil for 1-1. 5 hours. For stewing, it is better to put a pan of fish in the oven or in a Russian oven.

The finished fish is served hot with boiled potatoes or cold.
