Herring casserole with potatoes

Ingredients

→ GROUND BLACK PEPPER
→ SALT
→ 500 G SALTED HERRING
→ 2 EGGS
→ 2 TABLESPOONS VEGETABLE OIL
→ 2 ONIONS
→ 1 CUP OF MILK
→ 1 KG OF POTATOES

Cut herring without skin and bones to soak in milk (see "Cutting fish").

Boil the potatoes, cool, peel and cut into slices. Chop the onion into strips and lightly fry in butter.

Grease a saucepan with vegetable oil, put a layer of potatoes on it, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with onions and put the herring cut into pieces on top. Put the potatoes on the herring again, and so 2-3 times. Top everything with a mixture of egg and milk. Bake the dish in the oven for 30 minutes.
