Lightly salted herring and rice salad

Ingredients

→ 40-50 GRAMS OF GREEN SALAD
→ 3-4 TABLESPOONS OF MAYONNAISE
→ 3 HARD-BOILED EGGS
→ 2-3 HEADS OF ONIONS
→ 2 TABLESPOONS BOILED CRUMBLY RICE
→ 1 SALTED HERRING

To prepare a salad of lightly salted herring and rice, clean the soaked herring from the skin and bones (see the materials "Cutting fish" and "Processing salted herring"), cut into pieces or straws. Onions cut into half rings and pour boiling water. After 1-2 minutes, drain the water, and cool the onion quickly. Cut the lettuce leaves into strips.

Sort the rice, wash it, put it in boiling salted water (2 cups of water for 2 tablespoons of rice) (see also "Japanese rice") and cook until tender. Transfer the boiled rice to a colander and cool.

Mix herring with rice, onions, add finely chopped eggs, as well as green salad.

Season the herring salad with a little salt and rice before serving with mayonnaise and mix well.
