Navaga
Navaga is a Northern European small fish weighing 75-200 g. it is used for cooking whole 2-4 pieces per serving. Navaga skin after heat treatment does not have good taste and has an unpleasant appearance, so it is recommended to remove it. Navaga is usually not used as boiled and steamed fish, but it is used for fried fish, (in sliced form) fish fries, as well as children's and diet dishes.
