Onion-turnip "bylina" (red)

The bulbs of the medium-ripe onion "bylina" have a dense pulp of dark red color. They taste raw, almost sweet, and delicious. Externally-large (150-200 g), wrapped in purple-red dry scales.
Due to the high taste qualities, the onion "bylina" is often used fresh for preparing various salads and snacks.
