Pike in tomato sauce

Ingredients

→ GROUND BLACK PEPPER
→ NOODLES, OR PASTA, OR RICE (SIDE DISH)
→ 750 G BONELESS PIKE FILLET
→ 30 G PARSLEY
→ 200 G TOMATO PASTE
→ 100 G ONION
→ 1 TABLESPOON VEGETABLE OIL
→ 0.5 TEASPOON OF SUGAR
→ 0.5 CUP WATER OR FISH BROTH

Fry the chopped onion in oil, mix with tomato paste, add 0.5 cups of fish broth (or water) (see the recipe "Fish broth"), salt, pepper, 0.5 teaspoons of sugar and boil. After that, cut the fish fillets (see the article "Cutting fish"), wash, wipe with a towel and pour the prepared tomato sauce. Cover the pan with the fish, put it on a low heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes.

When serving, put the fish on a platter, pour over the tomato sauce and sprinkle with finely chopped parsley. To garnish the fish, you can serve boiled rice (see the recipe "Japanese Rice"), noodles or pasta, seasoned with oil.
