Puy lentils (green French lentils)

This variety of lentils is named after the French city where it was bred.

The seeds of "puy" are black and green, with a sharp (pepper) taste and spicy aroma, besides they practically do not boil, so it is best to use this variety of lentils for salads, including with the addition of sour sauces.

Puy is prepared for about 20 minutes. Before cooking, it is recommended to soak it.
