Raw rice (shala)

Shala is rice with an outer shell. It is a balanced product containing starch, potassium, sodium, iron compounds and all B vitamins. In Central Asian countries, raw rice (shala) is used to care for the seriously ill and maintain the health of ordinary people.

The shell of this rice is very hard, so it is pre-steamed.

The broth obtained during the preparation of unpeeled rice is filtered and drunk as a medicine.
