Regional cuisine of Germany: green sauce in Frankfurt style

Frankfurters are very fond of the so-called green sauce. This cold sauce is made from seven herbs: cucumber grass, kupyr, bedbug, parsley, bedrentsa, sour sorrel and chives . The basis of the sauce is sour cream, vinegar and vegetable oil. In addition, hard-boiled egg yolk is sometimes added here.

Ready green sauce is served with boiled potatoes and rump.
