Rice is the "Egyptian" (round)

For more than one millennium, "Egyptian" round-grain rice has been grown in the northern part of the Nile Delta. Despite the fact that this rice has a high viscosity when cooked, its grains retain their shape perfectly – that's why it is very often used for cooking oriental dishes (for example, sushi or rolls) or served as an independent dish.

The cooking time of "Egyptian" rice is about 15-20 minutes.
