Round grain rice "Kuban"
White Russian rice of the "Kuban" type has almost round opaque grains. It belongs to the varieties with a very high starch content and is famous for its ability to absorb a large amount of liquid during cooking. In addition, when boiled, "Kuban" has a creamy consistency, thanks to which it is often used for making rice porridge, puddings, desserts and casseroles.
