Serrano Chili Pepper"

"Serrano" is a small hot pepper in the shape of a bullet (3-4 cm in length). It has light green, smooth, shiny fruits with rather thin walls, which makes "serrano" ideal for eating.
In its raw form, it is best to eat "serrano" a little unripe, when it is still green. Otherwise, it is often salted, marinated, or added to salsas and sauces.
