Strawberry Root

For medicinal purposes, both the ground part of the strawberry plant and its roots are used. At the same time, it is important to keep in mind that only the roots of wild strawberries are considered healing! For harvesting, they are dug out in early spring or autumn, freed from lumps of earth, washed under a stream of cold water and dried in the air in the shade or in a well-ventilated room.

Finished dried strawberry rhizomes break with a crunch and have no smell. They can be stored for 3 years.
