The lines are gigantic

Giant lines-conditionally edible mushrooms, they appear in April-May and grow mainly in birch forests on sandy or clay soil.

The caps of the giant stitches are almost shapeless, brown, with a folded surface, reaching a diameter of 20-30 cm. The legs, on the contrary, are very short, folded, with cells inside.

The flesh of the giant lines is gray-white, without a pronounced taste and smell. In cooking, it is used in fresh and dried forms.

(In the first case, the lines must be boiled for 25-30 minutes (the broth must be drained!), then washed in cold water, then stewed in milk or fried in oil with sour cream.)
