Tomato salad with herring

Ingredients

→ PINCH OF RED HOT PEPPER
→ SALT
→ 3 HARD-BOILED EGGS
→ 2 TOMATOES + A FEW SLICES OF TOMATO FOR DECORATION
→ 2 CELERY ROOTS
→ 1 SALTED HERRING
→ ¼ TEASPOON GROUND BLACK PEPPER
→ 0.5 CUPS OF MAYONNAISE

Wash the celery roots and soak for 20-25 minutes in cold boiled water. Cut the herring into boneless fillets (see "Cutting fish") and cut into small pieces. Finely chop the boiled egg, while leaving 1 yolk for decoration. Tomatoes cut into small slices, and celery-thin strips. Add the herring, eggs, black and red ground pepper, salt, mix and season the salad with mayonnaise. After that, mix everything well again and put it in a salad bowl.

Before serving, garnish the salad with tomato slices and crumbled egg yolk.
