Vegetable oil

Vegetable oil is produced from the seeds or fruits of oilseeds. According to the name of the seeds, the oil is given the name: peanut, mustard, hemp, flax, sesame, poppy, almond, surepnoe, olive, rapeseed, sea buckthorn, corn, sunflower, soy, cotton, cedar, walnut.

Vegetable oil is called refined if it is freed from the specific smell and taste of the seeds. For example, refined sunflower oil has almost no taste and aroma of fried sunflower seeds.
