Viburnum seeds

In addition to the bark of viburnum, its berries, flowers, juice and seeds are used in folk medicine.
In the common viburnum, the seed is flat and has the shape of a heart; in the Far Eastern viburnum Sargenta, it is round, and in the viburnum growing in Transcaucasia, it is ellipsoid with two grooves.
From the seeds of viburnum, as a rule, prepare a drink that somewhat resembles coffee, and drink it for constipation and dyspepsia.
