Green onion of the "white feather" variety"

Early-maturing green onions of the "white feather" variety form a large white onion and a green rosette of leaves. The leaves of this onion are medium – sized, they taste juicy, tender, and spicy.

"White feather" is recommended to be consumed fresh (added to salads, vinaigrettes, soups, sauces, marinades) or stewed (added to raw minced meat or fish or to the filling for pies, and then subjected to heat treatment). They can also be used to decorate various snacks.

In frozen form, "white feather" can be used in winter as a multivitamin green.
