Plum glue

Plum glue is a resin released from cuts on tree trunks. In ancient medicine, it was considered useful and used in the treatment of ulcers, conjunctivitis, stomatitis, and was also used to strengthen vision (topically).

The plum resin collected from the tree can be stored in a glass jar: this way the resin dries up, but it does not lose its medicinal properties.
